  • Calendar & Task Data: When you use the shared calendar, meals planner, and tasks features, we store the events, schedules, priorities, and custom lists you explicitly input.
  • Family Demographics: We collect information you voluntarily provide to customize your dashboard, such as family member names/nicknames and your ZIP code (used strictly for the Local Discovery feature).

B. Voice Data (Voice Assistant)

When you use the Kindred Voice Assistant feature to ask about schedules or free time, our Service processes your voice recordings or text transcripts. This data is handled in real-time to execute your request and may be processed using trusted third-party artificial intelligence and speech-to-text subprocessors.

C. Technical and Device Data

We may automatically collect basic device metadata to ensure cross-device syncing and optimal performance, including web browser versions, device type, and cross-device syncing authentication tokens.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data strictly to power Kindred's ecosystem:

  • To sync calendars and tasks across your family devices.
  • To provide localized family event suggestions in your area via your ZIP code.
  • To process voice queries and return smart scheduling insights.
  • To improve, maintain, and optimize the features of the Service.

We do not sell, rent, or monetize your family's personal data or use calendar entries to target external advertising.

3. Sharing Your Information

We only share information with third-party service providers ("Subprocessors") necessary to maintain our platform infrastructure, such as:

  • Cloud Infrastructure Providers: Lovable Cloud & backend Supabase to securely host data and sync across family devices.
  • AI/Voice Processing Engines: If you interact with the voice assistant, scripts or audio data are passed securely to language/audio processors to transcribe and understand your prompt.
  • Legal Disclaimers: As highlighted in our platform statement, Shiloh's Home is a community and organizational platform. We do not provide professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment via our discovery or AI tools.

4. Children’s Privacy

Kindred is a tool meant to be managed by parents and adult family members. While family schedules may contain references to school or child routines, we do not intentionally target, profile, or directly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 without parental consent.

5. Your Choices and Data Deletion

You maintain complete ownership of your family's schedule. You may edit, remove, or completely delete your calendar entries, task records, and profile details inside the application's "Settings" dashboard at any time.
